  1. Set Up Your Area: Have at least 10 feet of clear space behind you so you can step back to perform the eye test.
  2. Complete the Vision Check: On the video call, we will run a brief vision test to evaluate your eyesight.
  3. Pay Securely: After the passing the test, we'll have you enter your payment information in a secure form. You may use a credit or debt card.
  4. Result Submission: After payment is confirmed, we will immediately submit your results directly to the DMV vision registry.

To complete the test, you will need:

  • A laptop, tablet, or mobile device with a front-facing camera
  • At least 10 feet of space in front of the device
  • A stable internet connection
  • Corrective lenses, i.e. contacts or glasses (if required for driving). Note that telescopic lenses or dark-tinted glasses are not allowed (most corrective lenses are not telescopic).
  • Your New York driver's license number

If you do not have your physical license, we can verify your identity using another government-issued photo ID.
